throttle body rattling
ok, I am new to civics but I have never had a problem with this in the past. I removed the entire air intake and placed a new cone filter directly to the throttle body. now between 2100 and 2600 rmps it sounds like a fire alarm bell in the engine, I believe it is coming from the throttle body. has anyone encountered anything like this?

You probably need some sort of pipe. You hit a certain velocity and the frequency of the air waves is causing vibration. It's not like a Camaro where you can just put a filter on the throttle. It doesn't work without some sort of pipe with a length to cancel frequency out.
OR... you're rattling on the hood. Ghetto rigging is bad. Get an intake.
