Ok, well I did a search and came up with minimal information. Has anyone ever thought of fabricating a custom hood scoop in either the OEM hood or a CF hood? I want to get a K&N SRI and maybe make a custom hood scoop to fit over or just in front of the filter (so no water gets in the filter) on my OEM hood. Would there be much of a problem cutting a hole in my hood? Where can I find a scoop that will fit, say 5" x 8" hole, or something like that? It would be a littel offset of center but that's cool. I don't want anything huge or obnoxious, just something to help the SRI suck in more cool air. Any ideas? CAI is not completely out of the question, I've heard AEM can be switched from CAI to SRI easily for rain purposes, but I want to try this. PICS?
