Can I take this apart??

I wanted to know something. I can't remember, but I will ask so I don't have to take apart my center console to find out.

You know where the radio is? Well, you know that spacve right under it where it's just empty? It looks like that whole piece can be seperated from the center consol. Kinda like the plate that the radio sits in. Does it really come out or apart??

Any help is appreciated.

Yeah. . it's held on with 4 screws (I think) in my 2001. . It comes off easily. .

u have to remove the whole dash peice.. and the screws are on the sides.
