Rear Speakers in Sedan- I'm Lost!

I've been for ages searching through the forums trying to find a final solid answer to my problem.

I have a pair of 6.5" Sony Xplode speakers from my old car, and want to mount them in the rear of my 03 Sedan. Now, I'm still skeptical as to what I can do with this. Since the Xplode holes don't line up with the stock mounts, do I HAVE to cut new holes, or can i buy mounting brackets? If I can get brackets, where can I get them? Or, could I possibly fabricate something?

If anyone could help it would be much appreciated. I just want to get these babies in, and my tireless forum searching seems to yield no solid results.

Thanks!

-Chris

No matter what you do you'll probably have to drill new holes....just go for it, it's not a big deal.

i have a sedan and also usin xplods..... umm..... what i did was i used zip-ties to secure em on..... but then i realized that they were rattling... so i used some sponge cut out a ring..... placed it inbetween the car and the speaker...... and voila.... no more rattling.

Blue, thanks for the reply.

I'd read that before, but was sketchy on how well it would hold. If no one has any other information for me, i'll try that in conjunction with some foam. Otherwise, I may just have to drill.
