you guys suck for canneling the Nor/So meet for lack of interest when nearly 40 peopl
I think it was cancelled a lil' too quickly. I would've liked to see a dateline to at least expect people to be ready... it's not even August yet and the meet was in mid-late August.

sad as it sounds i was really looking forward to it. even though 25-30 cars were going it was the idea of seeing the so. cal rides. theres still plenty of time to put this thing back on and get the word out to the people who were interested. just a thought...

edit. Diz, were there really so few people going? it seemed in the thread that there were three or so flakes, and seven or so maybe's, all on a list of like 15 people from socal, and 20 form norcal.
i dont know what happens in PM, but seems to me thats still like 25 people who planned on going...... and that counts all teh maybes as no......

and i think that theres alot of unsubstantiated anger here. Diz IM'd me, and I think he is right. I dont think there is any way that there are going to be even 40 people here.
what im asking is why everyones getting mad at that
what im asking is why there ahve to be a billion people going for you to go.
what im asking is that when someone asks you if you wanna go, your first question is "well, who else is gonna be there?"
i just dont understand where the anger is coming from. its a meet planned, should be fun! if you wanna go, go! and if only 10 people show up, sucks for the people that DIDNT show up, right?

But wait... what about the other meet that replaced this one that Jeff thought up? I guess we're good enough to try to make up from our mistakes.
If I know Jeff, he'd be down for this one... but since I don't know him that well i'll STFU.
EDIT: We got meets for the 13th, 16th, and 23rd... for **** sakes... I dunno WTF to say about that... except everyone's gotta attend at least one of them.

I think what he's saying is, we want people to participate and represent. We'd like to see a strong attitude towards attending this meet. Seemingly the lack of participation was probably due to lack of interest from the distance driving so "far", but no one really knows. Some of us just want people to go if they're really interested in going for No Cali and also have a good time since this would be a meet unlike any other. We want to make this happen and know that the people who want to go want to make it happen as much as we do... such as WhiteRabbit, Nytryder2k2, and DizWikedCivic.
