lower grill question

i just found some black plastic gutter gaurd mesh in my garage that my dad bought when we moved in. the question is, would it work if i used plastic? im just worried that it might melt or something..

Should be fine since there isnt really anything hot enough down there to melt it. If you install it post some pics!

ok cool, thats what i thought, but i just wanted a second opinion..

good thing about the mesh is that its plastic so i wont have to worry about it rusting

what about rust-free(or rust-proof or rust-protected or whatever) aluminum mesh? does it still rust? ima do this mod too so im collecting some info.

today when i passed by bmw dealership, i saw some cars, i guessed they were m3 but not sure. they had lower mesh grille which seemed like plastic. i think u will be fine cuz even those oem has plastic ones, prolly they are some material better than just normal plastic of course.

Just keep it clean, if it is the stuff i think it is, you may not like the way it looks because the holes in it arent that big
