Okay, if anyone here has experiences with Hardin Honda, let me know -- eg. good or bad and why. I am trying to go to Hardin Honda to make them fix my car. It is not stated anywhere in the warranty booklet that it has to be fixed where you bought it, and they are not giving me that BS again. After Downey Hondaworld, I'll kill them if they tell me to go there ever again.
I have had to deal with HondaWorld in Downey for all the freaking probs I have had with the car since the day I signed the papers for it and paid for it. HondaWorld in Downey screwed me over BIG TIME and screwed me again and again. I kept not wanting to go back to that horrid dealership, but every other dealership I went to gave me this BS, "You have to go where you bought your car from" which happens to be an hour drive from where I live also.
BTW, here's a list of things that HondaWorld in Downey has screwed me over for:
no keys to my car AFTER I paid for it
no remote entry AFTER I PAID FOR IT(It was an EX top of the line, supposed to be included)
no booklet for my car with the security code info (for the radio)
Had to make several trips back the first week I bought the damn hellbeast to get all the above stuff done
My gauge cluster wasn't even in here correctly-- I could stick my hand inside-- they wouldn't give me a rental for any of my repairs under warranty--WTF?? Other dealerships give other people rentals!! Why not here??
The paint chipped off the back, when I brought it back to get repainted, it didn't.
I got my car back, and the paint was still falling off. BAsically, they lied/made **** up so that they could have my car for a week, while I was car-less (work/school)
Took my car to get painted again because of the defective paint>>> get this:
this time, they actually painted it, but it turns out SOMEONE ****IGN TOOK MY CAR JOYRIDING AND PUT LIKE OVER 200 MILES ON THAT THING JOYRIDING IT WHILE THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO FIX IT -- that is totally against the law PLUS it was during the break-in period. My car was brand spanking new; who knows how the jerk drove my car when he "borrowed" it to go out!!!!!!
Called the dealership to complain --
Service guys there always rude to me
Service manager hung up on me
Wrote a long assed letter to Honda, but the customer service agent who contacted me told me that alot of the problems were out of their hands. WTF??????????
And many, many more problems with the dealerhip. Yes, I know there were alot of defects with my car, but the way the dealership treated me/handled the problems made EVERYTHING TEN TIMES WORSE AND EVEN MADE ME CRY FOR WEEKS. It was very frustrating to miss out on work, etc with no car.
So now you see why I am paranoid about going to the dealer for more warranty work, and this is why I am asking people in Socal's opinion of Hardin Honda (my only hope).
I told myself to never go back to any Honda dealership ever, but I have no choice unless I wanna spend mega bucks replacing the suspension on my car, replacing my air vents, etc.
gRRRRRRRR

man you recommend DB Honda? From my past experiences they're shady as heck. Service is slow...information about parts are bad...overcharge you on anything...the guys in parts think they know whats good for your car and they dont know jack. only thing good is if you get aftermarket parts installed there then your warranty is still covered.

I've had nothing but good experiences with Hardin. I went there for the 10000 miles service, and the guy that helped me was awesome. I asked them not to rotate my tires since my wheelz were still pretty new, and he not only did that, but he had them full detail my car instead of the tire rotation. That guy was off da heezy. Thats the only dealer I go to for stuff.

Okay, okay, so it seems that from you guys' responses, that Hardin Honda is "safe" for me to go to.
I hope they take care of my struts (blown). Bah -- didn't even lower it yet.
