Will an RSX Type S Head fit our engines?

My friend told me he read up on it in a magazine (SUPER STREET), that someone put the RSX HEAD, with ECU, Headers and thats all i think and it pushed 171 at the wheels? Dynoed!
not bad?

anyone else hear of this, i tried searching couldnt find anything

it is a dohc, and i dont see how they could of, i just searchs SS's web site, and found nothing on it, i call BS

No, they probably put the rsx head in the Si.

that is very doubt full cuz u need the full swap.. im not sure a k20 head would fit our blocks and the dohc too would make things more complicated..

Ooh you should see what my car does w/ half a Corvette Head (600 bhp dynoed!!)- Sorry, but i couldn't resist.

I don't believe that head would fit on the D17 block, as both appear to be quite different, so i say it's a lie.

It was a K20A2 head on a K20A3(SI/base RSX). That is what you are talking about.

NO WAY, D series are SOHC and K sereis DOHC. Did they say they used the RSX Headers? If so, not possible because the exhaust manifold of the K series is on the opposite side of the engine as the D series and will not fit.

I think he read the article and saw "RSX head on an Si". Since he has a canadian "Si" (A Ex here in the U.S.), he thought it was possible.

We know it isn't
