Exclamation GTA peeps, BEWARE!!
The police is again holding a blitz. This time it's residential streets, speeding and failing to stop at stop signs. Just a heads up so you know to slow down in the 40 streets and stop at least to a roll at the signs (or rather, stop completely, coz they can write you for rolling).

The blitz is Toronto area, so no specifics, but it should be a big one.

Also, heard that York region cops will continue the DKN blitz against illegal and unsafe modding, so beware too.

Yeah man, there were mad cops in the residential streets by Midland and Finch, ran a stop sign, and had to quickly run through the little streets to ditch the cops. Shiet.

yah those stop sign tickets will kill you, my cousin got $100+ ans 3 points for rolling at a stop sign.

Guess I better behave a little better on my way to and from work then. I think I have only ever made a complete stop twice at the stop sign at the end of my street (both times a cop was coming).

Last night I was SO super lucky when I got back to my street in Mississauga. I stopped full just to glance at my left shoe (see if it had gotten dirty) and I looked up, there was a cop car just 40 feet from the corner. Lucky cos I been rollin through that one a lot lately.

i live right by a york region station and there are cops all over the place... i've just made it a habit to stop completely and take it easy on side streets...

York cops are actually now on work to rule and supposedly will not be issuing any traffic tickets. I inadvertantly tested this out last night. I rolled a stop sign, and as I began to turn I realized there was a cop pulling up the other side of the intersection. He looked at me as I made the turn, but didn't do anything.

Work to rule only means if they are on another assignment they will not touch you. If they were assigned to traffic duty they will still pull you over.

cops have been on double duty since 2F2F and DKN...I imagine its gonna get pretty bad until summer is over at least...and york region cops seem to think just about anything is an unsafe mod...

i got pulled over a year ago (for aleged speeding) and the first thing the cop asked me about when he leaned in was my modified peddles...hmmm....
