Ok... they are not Volks. Volk Racing is a brand name of Ray's Engineering, which also makes the Gram Lights. The Gram Lights are a separate brand and have nothing to do with the line of Volk Racing wheels.
On another note, you are comparing a Forged wheel to a Cast Wheel, it isn't exactly fair, but SSRs have flexing problems.. they don't bend, but they have been known to flex under hard cornering and doing it repeatedly can take the rim out of round. You should know that if your considering them.
On the otherhand, I'd go with the Gram Light 57Pro or the new one, the 57S.. both of which are 2 piece forged.

I have always liked the SSR Competitions but I wasn't aware of the flexing problems that Boilermaker1 spoke about, so thanks to him (of course I drive like an old fart now anyway so it probably dont matter ). Here's the pic:

Now I know how much you are willing to pay for those, so here are the Gram Light 57 Pro in Gunmetal. Go thru this vendor and get these 17 X 7 forged 2-pc wheels for the exact same price as the SSR's + you get free shipping. Now you REALLY have a choice to make
