side mirror fell off
side mirror fell off
ok,
finally, someone accidentally or on purpose hit my left side mirror and it fell off a bit.
it can still move, because I guess the power line are still fine except the mount is broken.
I read bunch of DIY but I am affraide of taking off door panel, because my left door panel is already rattling with loud music.
someone here in GREATER TORONTO AREA, HAMILTON or BURLINGTON is familier with door side panel removal and can fix the side mirror? I might "hire" one person like that...for 50$ C.D

You don't need to take off the door panel to fix your mirror. Just take off the triangle plastic (pry it off using a flat screw driver) and there should be 3 round screws holding your mirror.
For $50, you can get a new pair. Why would you paid someone to do it when you can easily swap the mirrors yourself...IMO.

I hear a lot that if you want to keep the triangle plastic in a nice state, you have to open the door panel, then remove it.
and one screw is hidden under the door panel.
that what I see in forums...can someone back "HappyGilmore" up. BEcause I also hope I won't need to remove the door panel!!!!

No, you don't have to remove the door panel in any way. Just pry the triagle piece up from the bottom so it pops free. I mean just so the bottom pops outward but the top is still flush.
Then, just lift the triagle piece towards the sky about an inch and pull it away from the door.
There should be 3 screws under there but I can't remember. Those 3 screws hold the mirror on.
Trust me, you don't need to remove the door panel for that little piece.

Correct you don't need to remove the door panel to remove the triangle piece. This is exactly why I got the UK-spec folding sidemirrors. Our U.S. civics should have had this standard like the 5thgen civics and below.
