Rep Power: 245 How to get out of a license plate ticket??
I got pulled over Monday morning for not having a front license plate and for tint. I bull shitted my way out of the tint and am wondering about the license plate ticket. I'm really short for cash this month so I would really like to get it dropped.
Is there anything I can do prior to the court date to try to get the ticket taken away?
If I go to court can I show them that I have it on and have it taken away or what do I do???? Any help would be appreciated...

Rep Power: 0 its 25 bucks... IMO not worth the hassle of going to court for it, just pay it if you got the loot. if its a fix it ticket (compliance) then i believe you can fix it and go to the police station, they may write it off..

Rep Power: 245 It's about $50 here.... and I don't think it's a fix-it ticket but am not sure... I told him It was off because the front end had just been repainted and hadn't got to putting it back on yet....but it was a state **** and he didn't care....

Rep Power: 251 look on your ticket and see if its checked "correctable".
if it is, all you have to do is put it back on and have an officer sign the back of your ticket for that specific violation and then you goto the courthouse to pay the court fees (generally around $15-30 here in CA)

Rep Power: 271 take picture of it "on car" (just sitting there works, they dont know) go to court, say that it had literally just been painted, and you now "have it back on" (present picture here) usually they will waive it as log as you "fixed it" and "learned your lesson"
