What happens if I don't get my "Fix-it" ticket fixed? is it a misdemeanor? I got a fix-it ticket on my intake.. I don't really have time to get the stock intake and get the smog test... so what happend if I just ignore this thing?

You should at least get a warrant out on you. If you don't fix it, don't expect the officer to be so nice next time you get pulled over.

Yeah you'll get a warranty on you. They won't go looking for you but if a cop just happens to run your plates while your driving and see's it then your kinda

WTF?!?!? unless you went to Home Depot and had them bend some rusty steel piping for you...your S.R.I or C.A.I should be 50 state legal....for C.A.R.B emissions....

your aem is 50 state legal or at least should be, contact aem and request a copy of their 50 state legal carb test showing its legal, and take that to court. If you just ignore it, you will have a warrant and eventually get arrested if stopped by an officer.

If you can get a copy of that AEM V2 50 state legal proof paper, let me know. I might need that some day for mine.

I called AEMpower.com today.. they asked me for my receipt to get it faxed to them.. but then its been a year now.. so I don't have it.... so what I'm gonna have to do is go to any AEM dealer get my intake checked... and tell them (aem dealer) to fax the product number my name and address to them and they will send me CARB # sticker for my intake and I guess other paperworks... I won't be able to do that til next week.. coz I'm so busy... I'm glad that I will be able to do that though.. I don't have to take it off

save yourself the time and put the factory intake back in.

if you refuse to fix-it, then you have to pay the fine + court fees. or you can simply replaced it with the factory intake and have it signed off and just pay the small court fees.

ya i have my carb sticker on the hood in case anything happens later when I move. I'm surprised aem didn't include one with the intake. How can an intake not be smog legal? You can run open tb and still pass emissions. Intake has nothing to do with anything!
