Ticket- Need Help

I got a speeding ticket today. Its my first one. I got ticket for doing 50 in a 30. Any ideas on how I can just pay the fee and not get any points. I cant afford for my insurance to go up.

take it to court and plead no contest. dont plead guilty. that way your points wont go up. you will have to pay court fee's though.

Ok so if I plead no contest I wont get any points? This is in Maryland. Do I have ot take driving school? Do I have to give them a reason why I'm not quilty?

no dont plead not guilty just no contest. you might have to take a course but its better than having points for 3 years.

you can fight the ticket in court if you think you have a chance of winning. check out this site: http://www.ticketassassin.com/fight.html not sure if maryland does written declarations over there.. this is CA laws.

at this time, the only hope you can go for is fighting that ticket and winning the case. you may even have a chance of reducing fines even if you lose the case if you have a good argument

hire a lawyer and let them take care of it. Most of the time they will knock them down to no points, just fines.
