ya, if the owners of the vehicle file a police report and wish to press charges they can for vandalism... And yes the officers once they obtain a warrant can run your license plate number and trace it to your address and come to arrest you... They can also just come over based on the fact they have your tag number to ask you questions about the incident.

so what if someone wrote down your plate numbers... the only way they can prove it is if they have a video from the mall (which they prolly can get) but c'mon one paintball? don't worry about it. Just make sure that gun isn't in your car any more and you should be fine. The cop would have harrassed you if he pulled you over. If he didn't pull you over then when he seen you don't worry. The cop was just trying to intimidate IMO

the officer if he pulled him over, wouldnt have been harrassing him... the officer has a witness to the crime and a vehicle description... and when the officer would pull you over he would have seen the paintball gun..

It was a dumb thing to do, and I doubt the cops will do anything but put the gun away ding dong.. and NO he wouldn't been arrested if he didn't have the gun.. hopefully he was smart enough to take it out when he went back to the mall. and why in the fvck would you go back to the "scene"
