speeding ticket advice

Well, I just got another speeding ticket... and im wondering what people think i will get for it. It seems that I am on a schedule of every 2 years I get some sort of ticket! Well, regardless... I currently have 2 points on my license (failure to obey a traffic control device). I got a ticket for 79 in a 65. I am of course going to plead not guilty, but what do people think im going to get. It was in the town of Dunkirk (about an hour south of buffalo). State trooper pulled me over. Any guesses??? Think they will reduce?

Sorry i dont know, I live in illinois and we dont have the points system like alot of other states. but if it was a state trooper you might want to pray. I can get away with the local cops but if its a state trooper they will screw me over.

state popo

Usually our state police are really not that bad... They are actually the only people that have EVER pulled me over. They are really ****s about giving tickets out though... they really dont even give you a chance to explain, just say "license, reg., im issuing you a summons" and they walk away... then come back with your beautiful yellow slip. When I got that traffic device ticket I was goin 82 in a 65 and they reduced to that, plus 250, plus 35 surcharge. I also got on a while ago that was 62 in a 45 that got reduced to parking ticket with a 75 fine and driving school.

I got pulled over in wisconsin on the way to a Dave matthews Band concert. The trooper pulled me over for doing 96 in a 65. the first thing he said was. "Liscense, registration, proof of insurance. Sir do you have a major credit card with you today" so right away i knew the fine was big. 275 dollars later I havent gotten another one. (crossing fingers)

if its been 2 years since you got your last ticket, what about traffic school? approx $100 and the points go away too
