speeding ticket....raise insurance???
my brother got a speeding ticket yesterday...
80mph in a 60!
i was behind him, and there was no way he was doing 80...probably at the most...most most.....70!!!
we are going to fight it!
but,...... will he get points, and will it increase our insurance???
ohh by the way its $176 for the ticket...
we will probably take it to "Ticket Buster"s, pay $70, no points...and they take it to court!

Rep Power: 336 speeding tickets can raise your insurance. just fight it, get it reduced, and hopefully the judge will put it on 'probation'.
thats what happened to me. as long as i didnt get another speeding ticket within 6 months, the ticket would just go away. all i had to do was pay court fees which was like $35 compared to a $90+ ticket.

judge put it on probabtion. didnt get a ticket for a year now...so its gone! yay!

Also if I remember from my ticket in Miami...florida allows traffic school in leu of points like every 1 or 2 years. There is a ton of info online about florida tickets... Good luck

Rep Power: 0 all you have to do is show up for your court date. Talk to the Solicitor and put in a plea bargan. You may have to pay the cost of the ticket, but they will probably take it off your record, which is the most important thing.
