last night (fri night im drviing and have cruise control at 57 on a 55 road and i got pulled by 3 state troopers..3! they pull me over ask me questions, then say my car is illegal they measure it and ask me if I did the work (asking if i was an automotiveengineer) and try to get meon that, then they tell me my tint is below the AS1 line but civic's dont have a AS1 line so that was ok then they told em abut my lclaered headlights then they gave me sobriyty test and beathalizer, then they measuredmy car off ground and measured headlights off the ground... and then they quizzed me on mysef asking questions about my address etc. then alot more it took an hour total!!! after done i noticed i was over my curfew(by law curfew 1:am.) and i said to them u know im over my curfew now woudl u like to give me ticket for that and they had i think u can drive yourself home i said u think... am i gonna get ticket.. then they said we'll escort you home.



final thought cops r gay. i dont care what anyone ays **** em

For the record...Vics DO have an AS1 line. Look at the dots on the edge of your windshield. There is one spot a few inches down with an extra dot. It's not very noticable unless your looking for it. But it IS there. Your lucky the cops knew as little about your car as you do.

I would have talked to the trooper the same way. State troopers are the only cops that are always on a power trip. They are also the rudest out of any cops. they never have a smile on there face, no matter what you say to them, they will get a attitude. I have been pulled over 2 times before by state troopers and each time, I would tell them something and they would get in my face and threaten to arrest me. What kind of crap is that. And they always are sitting on the side of the freeway waiting for people to speed, but at 2 in the morning, they are eager as hell to drive 100 mph down the freeway. This happened to me. I saw some lights in my rear view mirror and they were getting closer so fast and this trooper just flew past me. I called the DPS about 5 sec. later and complained at that crap. Trooper need to be more respectful and nice to people in my opinion. I know they are doing there job, but they do it in a way that comes accross to everyone that they can do whatever they want and no one can do a damn thing about it.

Offensive, cocky, and always on a power trip. I am sick of treating police (only in suburbs) as g-ds and supermen, they do little and are cocky as hell.

I agree to that statement entirely. The otherday, I was pulled over because they refered to me as "suspicious". I proceeded how I always do, "officer am I being detained or arrested?".. "SHUT UP, Im sick of kids with additutdes, I can keep you here as long as I like". That is a quote, he ended up writing me a ticket for speed even though I wasnt speeding at all. He just knew that I was a toker and wanted to power trip on me. Its really sick man, nothin I can do about it. Who would believe me? God bless America.

I wouldnt even buy a new one. They come pre-loaded with dozens of programs that you dont want, spyware out the wahzoo, and on top of that they are poorly designed. I just build my own computers. My dad just bought a new Presario Laptop, it came from the factory fragmented to hell, and it only had like 3 gigs of information on it. Talk about crappy designs.

Quite frankly, and injencivic will more than agree with me on this; him and I will not tolerate flaming in here whether you are a cop or not. If we see flaming in here whether it is being done to a cop or not, we will rectify it immedIately if we see it or are told about it. However, everyone has a rght to their opinion and to put it here. Since we are all not honestly here to flame each other because that is not what this site is about at all, injencivic, I, and othes' will stop flaming immediately. I personally do not think anyone in this thread is flaming anyone, I think they are venting and/or giving their opinion which is pefectly fine.

Hey injencivic, sorry if anything I said was flaming, I know you are part of the law or are about to be. ANd to dingaling, to answer your question, I hate to say it, but yes, sometimes officers have nothing better to do than harrass people. I will give you the perfect example. Last year on a saturday night in houston, there is a street called westheimer where alot of people street race on saturday night, and there are alot of gatherings at different parking lots. Well anyway, There is a sonic parking lot that is next door to a strip mall parking lot where there is one of the biggest gatherings of street racers showing off there cars and people do burn outs. Well the parking lot is private parking lot so the police chief told the cops to have everyone leave out of there. Well the cops disobeyed that order and over 100 cops went to that little parking lot and arrested over 100 people for just gathering. They went into sonic and arrested people for no reason, leaving there kids inside there. They had over 30 tow trucks lined up along westheimer waiting to tow everyones car away. They even kicked peoples cars and caused damaged to them. This is severe harrasment and power triping by police. everyone arrested that night had they charges dropped and over 100 people filed a lawsuit against the houston police department. people were just told to leave, not be arrested. it was all over the news. People who were honor students in college with no criminal record were arrested that night for just watching.

actualy in some places cops have nothing better to do then bother kids. people have been pulled over from where im from and have had there tail lights kicked out by the cops. also i have seen a kid turn left threw a red with other cars following after him. kid got pulled over one of the old guys stoped and steped out of his car and said to the officer if you give him one you give me one the cop then took off.

i have been personaly followed home from a friends house to my house more then i can count. almost every day of the summer. i would leave his house around 1 almost every night and sure enuff the cop was allways there. i think why this happends is we have a very young police force.

but thats just my hometown. we have this place called highway real name is highway 100 is like the main drag for WI. the cops there are soooo cool. they respect people that trully work on there cars and arnt rices. and usualy the only reason you will get pulled over is for racing/speeding. many times i have sat at krispy creams and have had cops drive threw saying nice cars guys then leave. i think people give a bad rap to cops all to offen when its just there hometown or a city they drive threw to work that has the bad apples. i think people forget how much they need them untill they really do.

And yes in small towns some officers have nothing to do at all. I agree with that the uttermost.

I live in a small town but work in a big city and on friday and sat. nights the thing to do where i live is cruise up and down the major 4 lane in our town and sit at the mcdonalds/walmart parking lot and talk to each other way out in the parking lot and still the officers come run us off, but they are doing their job but alil to much IMO. we dont even do anything at all but talk....
I can see if we were causing a problem but we arent and i even told him who i was and he said well you should know better and i was like you little rent a cop *****, you dont even know what police work is compared to where i work. Its sad IMO but what can ya do.
