RIAA Trys to Trick people
The RIAA knows it cannot sue EVERYONE who downloads music. It hopes to scare away people from downloading music. Check out this article. They want you to sign a piece of paper saying you are sorry.

- all i have to say is that people should "steal" music to make up for the years and years of rape the music industry gave, Price fixing and such. Also the RIAA has not successfully convicted anyone... the one case they had they defendant signed an agreement.

Rep Power: 0 I think what they hope to accomplish is to trick enough people into signing that agreement. And then prosecute a portion of the remainders. Obviously they under estimate just how many people download music.
