Rep Power: 0 Oh wow, can't wait for the typical ricer stories. "I beat a Lingerfelter Corvette one time, twin turbo is so slow." HAHA j/k
Good luck with the car, hope you can get more than 30k miles out of it.

Rep Power: 0 well... hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the srt is scrapped... none in the province of ontario in 2005's... ... but, i do have a backup... test drove a 2002 civic si today, and holy fack it was sick!!! so what i'm going to do, is get the civic, sell my civic lx, take the money from that, and buy an intake, exhaust system, and the good ol' turrrrrrrrrrrrbo... however, totally stock RSX type S engine - which can then be added to.
So your looking at maybe 170/180hp in a turbo, and the SI engine is worse from what I understand to add a turbo. Something about high compression - but then again I don't know much about this stuff.

Rep Power: 0 high compression + turbo is bad, since the turbo is already adding cylinder pressure, combine that with the higher than a turbo car's compression ratio, you get really bad combo, I'm guessing that the RSX engine is probably something like 10.5:1, or 11:1, where as most turbo cars its 8:1 or 9:1. I don't know if they exist, but maybe a thicker head gasket would move the head out far enough to lower the compression enough to make running a turbo on it safe? it'd be ugly but cheap.

Rep Power: 539 just a question....if you were gonna buy a new SRT-4....why not just get an RSX something as opposed to spending so much on a car with an engine you don't want to keep? Read up on the K20 swaps and make sure you want the headaches that can come with it during the swap and down the road.....
Imo, if you want a K20 you should just get one IN and RSX.....unless I'm missing something here...lol
