Have you taken a look on Redliners? If it's for a 2000 civic, the ones that some of us have might not fit.

The '00 model is the 6thgen, these are 7thgen's so I dont think they will be compatible.

ive checked redliners but everyones got 5th gens...i know this is a 7th gen site, but sometimes people have odd parts...is there a 6th gen site somewhere?

Well I know there are other honda clubs around Ottawa. I don't know them off hand but I'm sure somebody does. Have you called Honda and gotten a price? What about junk yards?
