Rep Power: 291 Engine fluid flush
Well I called Mr. Lube about getting the fluids in the engine flushed, and the guy basically told me that the only thing that I would have to worry about would be the tranny fluid. (oil is new) he said no worries about the break fluid or the radiator. it's 39.99 plus taxes for the transmission fluid flush.
Can you guys offer some more input as to what I should also be getting done?? He mentioned something about cabin pollen filters in the glove box, but they cost $60 to replace. wtf do those things do??
ANy input would be appreciated! Thanks

Rep Power: 335 Get the cabin filters off ebay, www.hondaautomotiveparts.com or www.handaassecories.com
You can replace those for way cheaper than that dude.
If you need to when you need to change ceritan things; look in the owners manual.

Rep Power: 291 Yeah I figured I'd have to look in the owners manual, but honeslty, I'm lazy. As far as the filters go, I'll ask them to at least check it (it doesn't cost anything to do that) and they can inform me if they need replacing, seeing as how I don't have A/C and most of the time is spent with the windows down, I'd be breathing normal air anyways, and if they don't affect the overall performance of the car, I'm not too worried about them. Jim, as far as the coolant goes ..... would that be part of the radiator?? If so, the guy told me that that doesn't require servicing for quite some time. (I guess they have a chart to go buy for certain vehicles) Anyways thank you for the advice guys it's appreciated!

Rep Power: 291 Well I was in Orleans today, and I stoped by Mr Lube, got the tranny fluid flushed, and he checked those cabin filters, he said they were really bad. He dropped the price to like $45 for the 2 of them. The whole bill came up to $87 Not too bad for in and out in under 15 minutes!
