Wink Went Window Shopping yesterday...
Jim has been twisting my arm for some time now so I finally went out and checked out this shop on Prince of Whales yesterday.

I looked primarily at this one..the Honda CBR 600 RR. Also looked at a couple of used Ninja's both also 600cc.

anyway....food for thought but I learned a lot. It's been a long time since I rode any kind of motorcycle.

I don't know if a new bike is in the cards but it's tempting. I can get the 2003 Ninja for a lot less...I guess it depends on insurance. On my current salary I can't keep modding a newer car and insure a sport bike.

Jim is gonna show me a couple of other shops this weekend.

I should add that if I get a bike it's bye bye 2001 Civic and hello to something much cheaper..lol.

look at it this way: you could get a NEW bike like mine, and pay insurance like me....or get a used bike a couple years older and pay insurance like me...but the older bike will kick my bikes' ***.

insurance is the main kick in the pants.

checkout www.kanetix.ca for insurance quotes. they have somewhat accurate rates.

Took a look at a 2003 Kawasaki Ninja ZX 6R as well....pretty good price too. One I saw was black though.

dude...start off slow! cuz a CBR600 or a ninja is a pretty powerful bike... especially if you haven't taken one out for a rip in a long time.

a 600 isn't powerful enough that I can't work into the feel of things gradually. It won't take me long to get back in shape..lol.

yeah...the RSV1000R factory is ****in nuts, yo.

it's $28K plus tax...but only cuz powersports wants to get rid of it.

if we lived in a climate where i could drive one all year round, i'd be there....in a second.

Plan is to sell the car or trade it in. The place that has the bike will take the car on trade but I would have to see what they offer me...he just said it would be very fair.

So I'll get rid of the civic...and buy a bike and an EG hatch. I'll put my Rota's and new tires on the hatch too

Anyone know anyone lookin for a 2k1 or sellin an EG? lemme know..hehe
