It's a saturday event, and then on sunday they have a solo II event for only those who were in the class.
The first solo II event of the year will be on May 22nd.

MCO Performance (Solo II) Control School
The Motorsport Club of Ottawa offers a excellent opportunity to learn the fundamentals of high performance driving techniques. The course is held at the parking lots at the Corel Centre in Kanata, in a Solo II format. Our one day course offers lots of track time, supplemented by expert classroom instruction. Students learn in their own cars through a combination of in-car instruction and exercises.
An opportunity:
•To learn and tune high performance driving techniques
•To prepare for MCO's High Performance Driving School
•Improve for the Summer Solo Season
•To learn from experts in racing
Instruction:
Instruction begins with an in class session covering the rules of the school, concepts and the basic information that you will need in order to participate in the exercises. The exercises will concentrate on driving fundamentals, such as seating position, braking, cornering, 'heel and toe' shifting and other concepts.

What you'll need:
The list of things required for the school is short.
A list of things you'll need:
•A car (manual transmission preferred)
•a pair of tennis shoes (or other appropriate driving shoes)
•a helmet, Snell M95, M2000, SA95, SA2000 (However, loaner helmets are available at no cost)
•appropriate outdoor clothing
•driver's license and insurance
•(Adrenaline substitutes not required)
The school is going to be held May 14th, 2005. The price is unbeatable for the value of the course ($75 for members, $100 for non-members). For more information about the school, contact chuck@turningpointracing.com or attend the MCO General Meeting on Tuesday, May 3rd.
