Project Kenji Senpai underway! (Tail light project unveiled!!! *NEW PICS PAGE 6!!!!*)
Well, today was both fun and exhausting! he he...
I started off the day by having the 240sx towed to my buddy Bobby's house where we immediately went to work! The plan is the paint it black! oh yeah! BLACK!!!!
We started off by taking a few things appart and prep the car to paint it.I also took off the parts i was getting rid of, such as the driver side front fender, front bumper, and passenger side head light assembly, which are things i'm replacing cause they're dented pretty bad. In all, we worked on it for a good 8 hours and got a good part of the car sanded down. we enven cleared off most of the rust on the car, but that left a few holes in the trunk, but hopefully we'll takle that tomorrow... so hopefully the car will be fully prepped by saturday. I'm considering taking the day off on saturday in order to get more work done! We'll see how things go, but so far everything is going pretty smoothly!
Oh yeah, i also took off the hitch off my car... i mean, who the hell puts a hitch and drags a trailor with a 240SX??? "honnestly... who throws a shoe???"
Oh, and just so everyone knows, the car will actually be painted indoors, we're just doing all the prep work outside... and don't worry about the rust holes, once we're done nothing will show!
here are pics! Enjoy!!!

As said on your blog Freddy - nice looking start. I'm sure you'll have your fun with the project and cannot wait to see it sometime this summer

Just got back from my budy's house... I've been patching all the rust holes, some were pretty big! tomorrow i'll sand em down and put another layer of bondo on it!
Hopefully i'll get to put primer on the car tomorrow... forgot my digicam at home so i didn't take any pics tonight... but i'll be sure to take some tomorrow!

Looking good Freddy.. nice us updated
Though in following with tek's question - is that primer on the tires or just dust? Know the towel is there, but still looks like some overspray hit it
Still probably 100x better than what I could do myself so

you'd probably want a few feet... i don't know if you can see from the pics, but where my rear passenger wheel is, we only have about a foot and a half, so that area is kinda tight, but for the rest we have a few feet.
