Rep Power: 303 OBJECTIVE ONE: Get an S13... Complete!!!!
You heard me!
As many of you know, i've been looking for a 240SX to build up as a project car. And today, Jim and I went to Toronto to check out this 93 240SX with 368,000km... wow! that's alot!!!! anyways, we got there and it was pretty much what i expected, rust in a few places as described by the owner and a few dents, also as described by the owner. But appart from that, the car had new shocks and tires, and a fairly recent exhaust. The interior was very clean, heck this guy took care of this car, although he didn't seem to take care of the exterior too much, but my major concern was the frame! Jim checked it and it was solid!!! Perfect! so i took if for a test drive and boy was it ever smooth... for a 12 year old car, the clutch and shifting felt unbelievably smooth!!!
So i talked it over with Jim and we pretty much decided it was a good buy. So i made an offer of 1400 (he was looking for 2000). Considering the amount of body work to be done and the amount of milage on the car i thought 1400 sounded prety good! Although he didn't accept my offer... Mainly because some other guy was coming down from Quebec to check it out and he was already on his way... it'd kinda suck if he got there after a full day of driving and the car was already gone... so since i was working tonight i wasn't able to stay any longer and headed back to Ottawa , but my offer was still on the table... i had pulled out 1400$ in cash right in front of him!
But anyways, i get back home and not 15 minutes after walking through the door, my cell phone rings, it's the guy from Toronto and he tells me if i want it it's mine for 1500$ (which is pretty much what i was willing to pay for the car) so i accepted!
But now for the best part... ironically he is heading to Ottawa tomorrow on business and will bring the car to me!!! This is awesome! only condition is i pay for his gas to get here... i figure it would cost me more than twice that to go get it in Toronto myself! So it's a deal! i'm getting my S13 tomorrow!!!!!
OBJECTIVE TWO: Obtain an SR20DET black top (front clip)... in progress
Here are some pics of the beast... don't mind the rust or the dash colour... everything will be taken care of in time

Rep Power: 303 yeah, you did miss out man!
Anyways, it's now time to get this project underway! and for this i've chosen (with the help of Jimbo) a name for this project equally as cool as project seafoam.
My project is... Project Kenji Senpai!!!! I'll keep everyone posted as it progresses!

Rep Power: 292 sweetness: I found all the service manuals we'll need for freddy's swap...including the S13 USDM, S14 silvia, and S15 silvia.
Bug freddy if you want 'em
gonna save us huge amounts of time now that we got these badboys...we can even start building our own wiring harness...but i suggest we force freddy into buying one of the pre-made ones that has everything the right length and whatnot....right freddy?

Rep Power: 303 Little update:
Yesterday i went to get my car safetied and it didn't pass... i wasn't surprised, they always find something. I figured that for less than 100$ i can get it safetied.
I have a few burned lights to replace... gona be a few bucks for the bulbs...
a tiny leak in the resonator... gona get some exhaust leak fix...
a rust hole below the passenger door... bondo and touch up paint...
and i have to replace the ball joint on the passenger side (63$ at canadian tire)... i found a whole control arm (thanks jimbo) for 55$.
So that's what i'm doing today! i really wana start driving this car around before the weekend!
