Talking here's something you never thought I would say...

I want to do an Audio setup in my new car...lol. That's right kiddies I'm going to look at doing a setup in my ride but I don't know much about it so here goes nothing....

where is the best place to get stuff in Ottawa and can someone recommend a good sub/amp combo?

I would really like to stick with Clarion for my HU.

Like I've said..I don't plan on doing anything performance to this car short of getting a set of KW V2 Coilovers and some different wheels...and then tint and alarm of course. So natch I thought that I would do something in the audio end for fun as I'm gonna build a project car for my first love....PERFORMANCE....haha.

Anyway - thanks in advance for any help.

You don't exactly need to build a WRX STi for performance .. it comes with a nice pile of it

Trying to go back on subject .. for audio - Pharoh are you looking to do a full trunk conversion like Norek/APRBoy or just something simple with good acoustics?

Go to AutoTrendz man, they have really nice selection and prices.. That's where I got all my shiet from. As far as amp/sub goes, my first choice would be Phoenix Gold.. trust me, their products kick ***. Alpine and Auidobahn are up there as well, but IMO PG is the best bang for the buck

ok

Civic = COSMETIC
oTHER CAR = SPEED

this is what u will need, keep your deck its a good one, then u need

an Amp
Subs
Wiring Kit
better speakers -(only recomanded )

Your looking at 300 for the amp, Phenix Gold, MTX, alpine, these are all good, just which one u find a deal on, stay away from SONY and generic brands.

Subs, 2 10' or 2 12', in a ported box, that u can take out, Alpines are very nice, typre Rs, or Type Ss are top of the line. also Rockford fosegate, MTX. The best way for subs, is to hear them before u buy them, see which one u like more.

Cables - around 100 bucks will give u enough cables for everything.

speakers, again, any are good, but u have to hear them, Infinity is knows for really good speakers.

if u want a high quality music, get an amp for your speakers, this will be a 4 channel amp that u hook up your speakers to.

as for where, look around, any place will have audio, shop around, choose the setup u like from each place, and right all the prices down, do the math, figure out what is the best deal and go for it.

thats all i have. i think

hey true true, I forgot you had all that stuff for sale...

yeah Mike, look into what Kabir is selling... too bad it'll be missing the capacitor

edit: Mike, I just looked at k-man's prices.. 650 bucks for 2 12" Alpine Type-S woofers and a 600 watt JBL amp, wiring included is a kickass deal! If I was looking for a system, I would get that for sure
