Ottawa Christmas Party?
Just wondering if anyone is up for a little christmas party. I'm aware that not ALL of us may celebrate the holiday but it's still something we can do as a group I thought.
anyone have any ideas?

bars afterwards for those who wanna get sloshed
we could try to work in some initial D somewhere, too. but, i like the idea of food and bowling. bowling rocks

Ok mike you suggested it so you plan it I m down I say we do it on a Friday night After locals head down to Walkey bowl for some rock n bowl we can even do a little christmas exchange nothing more than 15 bucks
ok sorry if i offended anyone, it because of the my lack of linguistik skill
what i meant to say is, alot of people dont celebrate christmas as the birth date of jesus, but rather as a holiday season, many people from many diffrent religions have christmas trees and celebrate christmas, but are not christmas, so having a chrismis party doesnt mean having a party that marks the birth of jesus, but rather a party to celebrate the holiday season.
having that said, i dont celebrate christmas, but i do belive in jesus

I have to celebrate Vigilia and Chrismas, so December 24, and 25, I'm partying at my dad's place. Going out does sound like fun guys, but seriously... how many places will be open?
If you change your mind on going out, EVERYONE is welcome to hit up my dad's little christmas-eve party. I know a few of you don't drink, but he's paying for the bews, and the softdrinks
Anyways, think about it.

Since you guys replied after my post, I'm assuming you're down for coming over. It would be x-mas eve at night. I don't have a time just yet, but everyone is welcome!
I'll hook up directions and time soon.

wonderful point...I'm sure that 0.000009% of people in the Gatineau area will be rushing right out to the Casino...lol. I just think that making someone work a non-essential service on Christmas (if they celebrate) is wrong.
ok lets get this going, because of exams and the fact that people are leaving town, we will make this mid week.
so December 15th, (Wendsay) or 14 or 16, whichever is better for everyone,
7 pm we hit kelseys, (somewhere diffrent then locals) and eat and stuff, and then we go bowling ( which i know nothing about, so someone else has to plan that(, after that if u guys wanna hot a bar or something its up to you.
also, a nice idea would be a gift echange, something small, 15 bucks or so, one gift per person, we put all the gifts in one big box, and each one of us takes one, that way we dont have to spend too much on a gift for everyone, and also i wanna see some santa hats on that day, or maybe jim can dress up as Mrs. Santa or one of the elves
tell me what u guys think of this plan
