Well today was my freebie day off out of my little vacation time. Another reason I love workin for the government.
I know all this has been a secret (sorta) but I can tell ya what I'm drivin I guess. I just told Kevin one thing and now I'm posting another...hehe..sorry Kev.
So today I went out and test drove three cars.
I went to Tony Graham and found out that I know someone in a pretty high place there so yay for me
He set me up with a saleman and I went on a 1 hour test drive in a 2002 IS300. This car was alot of fun....it was a manual shift so I definately could see myself in this car. Great response and the low end torque was really nice. Guess this is a car I could mod and still have the classy look and appeal that I want. I always say that I want something I can track and park in front of the Chateau Laurier...lol.
2002 IS300 was...
Black
Black interior
23,000 Km's
$31,000.00
Then he took me to their Nissan dealership and I ran a 350Z. It's really hot! About 50 more hp than the IS but obviously a 2 door. As much as I love this car I don't know how practical it is for me honestly. I would still rather have the G35.
On the Toyota/Lexus lot they had a late model Quattro so I took that for a tear too...pretty amazing car but I'm not big on the styling of it
Handles really well though.
Anyway - that's what I did with my afternoon and thought I would share

I really love the IS300, very good choice. That one running around the the 2jz engine in it or whatever that supra's engine code is, is just sick. I think it took a lot of custom work to make it work but it'd be well worth the effort, who wouldn't wanta 4 door supra? 4 doors rock.

ya I mean honestly it's just better to not get anything nice until spring. Besides, it'll give me a chance to save the $$ for a better down payment and whatever else comes up.
