Does anyone know a good lawyer. I am looking for someone who would be able to read and explain a Last Will and Testament to me. I am not looking for someone to take a case on just yet, I just need someone who can explain my rights.

I can ask my parents on the weekend if they know anyone, but would it have to be someone from Ontario?

If you can not get a referral locally, I do know that alot of lawyers offer "the initial consultation is free". After having the first visit, you may have a much better idea of the direction to take, and who to contact. You can always go to several firms on a first visit basis, and learn abit more on each of the first visits...

Some firms ask for money up front, and some ask for a percentage of the settlement. Unfortunately with lawyers, the really good ones cost alot of money, and the crappy ones are cheap but you never know what you get.
