so Tired.....
Man...I hung around til 8:00 and then followed Mario to his rental place to leave his car so I could drive him back to the show for the rental. I hit the 404 at 8:30 or so...haha.
Stopped at the first highway station on the 401 for coffee and met up with 2 guys from Ottawa drivin a done up 6thgen SiR....they were both spectators at the show. (from Redliners)
There were about 4 others there from the show as well....on the way back we stopped twice and saw tons of cars that were in the show travelling back as far as Montreal. We saw that CF S2000, a red Viper, that AMAZING civic hatch with the clear hood and the insane airbrushing!! Two of the low rider trucks....complete with scraping and sparks demonstration in the parking lot..haha.
hit the 416 in a light rain and fog so me and Mike (SiR guy) rode side by side with the brights on...haha.
Got home at 2:00 and crashed at 2:30...AND I went to work on time...I'm beat..haha.
leaving at noon.
oh...and THERE WAS NO 7THGEN CLASS!! We were all so god damn pissed!!

Welcome back guys, heard u all had a great time, good thing no one got any tickets, cause cops were at DK. freddy, thanks for the KKs, and comon guys i want to see the pics, someone burn me a CD with all the pics.

Rep Power: 0 I bet your exhausted Mike! Thanks a ton for driving me back to the show after dropping off the rental car. I ended up hitting major traffic again on the way home. I have never in my life experienced traffic going to Barrie the way I did this weekend. It took me 3 hours to get home again because there was a huge accident where a guy hydroplaned and was hit by another car and died on the scene. All 3 lanes were closed and everyone was forced to pass by on the paved shoulder. A real MESS! I didnt get home until midnight. I cant wait to go home and sleep tonight! haha

Rep Power: 327 yeah, this weekend was awesome! especially the drive back.
While we were coming back this blue 7thgen Si started playing around with us, going fast and dodging traffic.
So we raced with him for a bit until we decided to just box him in! he he! Me in front, Norek on his right, and DNA in the back, and a wall on his left...
that was funny, we have it on video, the guy didn't see it coming. But he took it with a smile! lol
And then further down, this Stratus was always on Erik's ***... we'd lose him for a bit then he'd come back real fast and get back behind Erik. So we eventually got sick of him, so we started doing the same to him, starting to follow him right in his ***, speed up when he sped up then slow down when he would slow down, always right in his ***. But then he slowed down alot and we passed him, but next thing we knew he was right on our asses again. So that's it, we decided to box him in. Yeah, that's right! We get all around him and in the process i thought he was gona drive Erik and Norek off the road (he tried changing lanes withought checking his blind spots). and when we're finally all around him we slow down from over 130km/h to 90km/h for about a minute. Now that was funny!
Lets just say he wasn't in our asses anymore after that.

Rep Power: 0 LOL, ya that was hilarious boxing in that Stratus - he was pissing me off hardcore too.
Well the fact that there was no 7thgen class would explain a lot in terms of the judges quickly passing our cars. we stood no chance against the older model civics. oh well, I still had a good time and wasn't expecting to win anything, I just went to chill.

I also forgot to metion something else that happened on the way back.
On the highway there was this dark blue Volvo from Kentuky that was just driving really fast and cutting people off without signalling. Anyways, i didn't make much of it cause i was going about the same speed, until he finally cut me off. Well, at that point i just want to scare him so he doesn't cut people off without signaling like he had been doing the whole time. So i get behind him and let my police siren go off. He then tapped the breaks and looked in his rear view mirror and saw taht i was the only car behind him, at which point he noticed that the sound came from my car, so he gave me the finger! he he

The drive back was insane!!! once I got back to town driving, my half tank got choked down pretty damned quick!!
To add to that stratus story, they guy had a front bumper kit... sorta looked funny
