Leaving 2 Markham Friday HOTEL RATES ON PAGE 3!! Yo,
I was planning on leaving on friday morning for darknights... please post when you plan on going so we can maybe adjust and coordinate our times.

Here are the rates that I got from them:
Entering the car show: $109 night.
Spectating the car show: $119 per night.
For a corner room with seperating doors, add $25 a night.
Your room can be "customised" as you can request one king size bed, two queens and a pullout.
Suite room with jacuzzi: $199 per night.
I'm prolly gona reserve a room tonight. The prices are high, but the cost is being split between several people so it's not so bad. Anyone else found a hotel? I figured this one would be the sickest cause a bunch of the show cars will be parked in the lot.

The one near my mom's place is good but I haven't checked the rate. If you call that one tonight ask them what their government rate is for me would ya. I might be able to beat the Darknights price.

Here's the list of people I was told are going up and in need of a hotel:

Edit: I just read the post in full LOL. so never mind my dumg question. Thats what happens when you drink to much
and then come home and log on to 7th gen. I would like to be in a room with people I know. As much as I think the last 5 people are more then likely nice I have no idea who they are

food > prolly for 1 person would cost what? 40?
gas > 50 to T.O and back.
entrance fee > 40
for a grand total of... roughly $200 for the whole weekend. does that sound right?? The reason I'm asking is b/c I'm still balancing the thought of actually doing this, but I wanna budget how much it will cost, so I can actually see if the funding will work out. So how much would it actually cost for the room?? (per person)

Rep Power: 0 I called the Radisson and the biatch on the phone said that the rate is now $139 and that she knows nothing of the discount for the car show. I explained that the previous lady told me there was a discount, but this one just doesn't know about it. Fuxing hell! So anyways, I was gona call back today evening to actually get the good rate...
But Mike is gona call the Ramada to see what it would cost there. If it's better then $109, then he will be reserving 3 rooms. If this fails, I'll call the Radison back and get the good rate.
Hope this made sense, I'm at work and in a rush...

Rep Power: 316 well something like that. I was under the assumption it would only cost each person like 40 bucks, but if we have to double that then so be it.
the room should only be 300 some for the 2 nights. Thats based on the higher price that Norek was told. that works out to around 80 per person.

Rep Power: 0 ya, but i think that the second hotel we're calling will have a much cheaper rate. If that's the case, it wont matter if we have that many rooms. I'm sure things will work out... lets say for example, we manage to get a room that sleeps 4 people for $100 or less, that'll be $50 for the weekend. Hopefully that's the case... we'll know by tonight.

Rep Power: 564 I tried the Ramada and their basic rate for a two bed room is like $110 without a group reservation.
I have to call in the morning to speak to the group reservation rep. I can then get a price for 3 rooms at hopefully a government rate. Stay tuned.
