ok guys, there is a gen7 meet on may 15th, it will be fun, i really wanna go. The thing is this, Mike is gonna already be in TO, and a 5 hour drive by myself is not what i am looking for, a fun drive together with 2 ways would be tons of fun, and this would be a nice chance for some good video shots with a cam corder.

so who is up for this, comon guys leave all the drama behind and les have fun, if a small group of us go then i will do it, but if it is only me, then whats the point.

How do you see it taking 5 hours? My mom can do it in less than that..haha. I can make it there in 3 hours but that's really pushing the speed limit almost the entire time. If you guys can pool up like $80 between every two people you can get a room at a Comfort Inn or something and not have to drive home the same day.

well we will have to be there by 1, so we will leave say 830, then we will leave there probebly around 8pm so that we can be in ottawa by midnight

Also, as for speed goes, we dont want to get tickets, so we will all cruise at a set speed which isnt too high, like say 130km/h and stick to it.

8:30 am will get you there in good time and also give you time to stop along the way for food or whatever. @130 km/h and fair to no traffic it won't take that long to hit the GTA. I kinda wish I wasn't already gonna be there, the drive there would fun as hell.

I'm headin out mid day Friday so I can get into T.O before the traffic gets crazy.

well on the high way, it usually go with the flow, so if a bunch of us zre doing 130, which isnt very fast, we should be ok, i guess i will stay at the back so that if something happens i get caught, we will also have the 2ways handy. if it really bothers u, we can cruise at 120 to be safe.

and john, yeah any 2 way with 12 channels will do, i have an extra one if someone need to borrow it

OK, HERE is the situation, i need everyones input on this. at this time we have 2 options.

going and coming back on saturday. without mike.

going with mike on friday, getting a room somewhere in TO together and coming back on saturday.

now everyone tell me if u prefer goping on friday or saturday, if we go on friday, we will share a room or 2 between all of us, so it shouldnt cost us that much, but we need someone who knows TO to tell us where to go.

If we are leaving on saturday, we will meet at 8:30 SHARP at a timies somewhere and head out. we will drive at around 120 all the way, and we will try not to stop on the way except if in emergency or we run out of gas. we will leave TO together arond 8 or 9 pm, and head streight to ottawa.

if we go on friday it will basically be the same but we will leave around 2pm from ottawa and with mike. and we can use friday night to cruise around TO, and saturday morning to goto Pacmall.


So tell me what u think, we have a week.

Guys I think I would prefer to go up on the Saturday, as it will be cheaper. I don't really feel like dishing out 80 plus for a room. But if we can get a room for really cheap, then I'll consider it.

I'm 100% down for this, should be fun! Need to get an oil change before we go though

Abe keep in mind: Landin wants to go, but he works until 7 pm on Friday, and seeing as how he just started to work there a few weeks ago, he might not want to take the time off.

it would be nice to have a nice line of 7thgen's going down to Toronto, but we need come up with a leave day/time that best suits EVERYONE so that EVERYONE who wants to go, can go.
