Need help...ASAP!
ok guys, as you all know, I am quite a spazz...
I'm giving up my baby, and need some help from you guys.
Meghan and I have decided to buy a car together, and I don't want my car anymore.
What better way to preserve my beautiful go-kart, than getting an SiR?
I think we might take the plunge and buy a 2003 SiR...black with the GFX kit on it (doesn't look so much like a cheesewheel)...
I don't mind the styling (it's still ugly), but am more interested in the tuning opportunities without having to swap.
so..here's where I need some help.
1) does someone want to buy my rear brakes off of me? anyone wanna do the rear disc conversion? I bought the rear end for $650, but I'll sell it for $500. Only locally, though.
2) does someone want to buy my headlights and or taillights? I fixed my headlights so that the halo's shine bright blue, and so that the headlights themselves are pointed perfectly. I'm willing to let the headlights go for $200, and the taillights for $100.
3) I need some MAD help ripping off every single piece of my car, and putting it all back to stock. I'm thinking of doing it this weekend if the weather allows. I'll have to do it in my driveway, unless I can get someone with a nice big double garage (Player -- don't you have one???).
other than that...I'm not sure if my short shift adapter will fit onto the SiR? hrm...any input on that would be appreciated.
oh yeah, does anyone know about the pulleys I put on my car? the aem pullies? I don't imagine they will fit the SiR...so if anyone wants those, lemme know. I have to come up with $1500, and was hoping to get half of that from selling stuff off of my car.
if anyone wants something OTHER than suspension, give me a holla
I haven't been able to check the site lately (we got a puppy who occupies a LOT, if not ALL of my time), so PM pharoh for my phone number
hehehe
(thanks Pharoh
thanks guys! if nobody wants the brakes, I'll just keep them on my car and trade it in as-is.
also, if you're tight for cash because of x-mas (like I am), don't worry...You can pay me in the middle of jan
hehehe you have two weeks to save like a madman!!!
peaceout guys, and thanks in advance!
P.S. if anyone is willing to donate services, I would greatly appreciate it! thanks!!!

CAI: $100
Exhaust: $350
Also, anything that you want off of my car...let me know. If you help me take it off of my car, I'll help you put it onto yours
(ie: if you want my brakes, you want my help, trust me! hehehe)

.
but if you need my garage, just tell me in advance, and bring the tools, and i can be at service
I so wanted those taillghts. damn school.

Holly **** Player... 1 post would have been good
Tek: why don't you wait until next year when the 2005's come out. see if they will offer the SiR in the coupe model?
Player: The seats he's probably keeping for the SiR, the rims will most likely go on the SiR.

seats, suspension, rims, tires...all that will be saved for the SiR.
I'm not gonna wait for the 2005's, cuz the 2003's are on SUPER sale right now.
plus, I want to get rid of this as soon as possible.
so, player, if you can scrounge up some cash by the middle of the month, let me know..I can hold off on selling the lights. Also, if you could buy the springs from me, I would greatly appreciate it
I can install them at your house anytime if you like.
as for the other stuff...here's a proper list:
1) rear disc brake conversion
2) coupe/sedan headlights (halo's with bright blue ring) -- with amber LED turn signals
3) black hood and trunk trim (like the coupe has, but for a sedan)
4) AEM cold air intake
5) AEM tru-power pulleys
6) Magnaflow cat-back exhaust
7) Possibly my neuspeed short shift adapter if it won't work on the SiR?
8) APC carbon fibre euro tails (with red LED turn signals)
9) Goldline lowering springs (1.75" drop for sedans)
10) Progress 27mm front anti-roll bar (in grey, not weird blue/green colour)
11) Neuspeed front upper strut tower brace
everything else on my car is going to be transferred to the SiR. All the suspension stuff, and my rims/tires are going to be put to good use on the fugly SiR.
Yes, I hate the styling...but with the body kit, it's somewhat tolerable. Plus, this saves me from getting nailed by all the moronic local cops around here.
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
Thanks guys!

Tek, another thought... I know your probably saying ENOUGH!!! but just hear me out. why don't you save even MORE cash and get a used 2000 SiR??
If your like me though you don't want someone's sloppy seconds

Keep in mind also guys, we do have an SiR hatch member on the site. These hateful words might upset him.
An SiR is STILL an SiR no matter what body style it has >>> they can still smoke the coupe/sedan

Jim, why go SIR, when you can go RSX, for approximatly the same price. its basically the same engine and same power. but the RSX has mch more potiential looks wise.
and Mani, its not that we hate the SIR, but it does look like a mini van. but with some cosmetic work (like what pete did) it can look good. i just prefer the look of the sedan/coupe/rsx.
