Ottawa Senators Season Thread! Thought we could use a place to discuss our Countries favorite passtime...HOCKEY! Specifically our beloved Ottawa Senators.

although, seeing this thread made me think that i forgot to buy tickets on Friday for the season opener... damn it... now all there's left are 130$ tickets and above... oh well, i guess i'll go see some other game instead.

Rep Power: 316 Yeah seriously... 130 bucks is alot to spend on a regular game ticket.. especially a season opener. I'd pay that for playoff tickets though. deifinately

but ya.. leafs are hopeless with the addition of joe n.
the senetors are hopeless too. no offence..... haha
but colorado all the way in my opinon... the addition of kariya and selanne..... you cant go wrong!
oh ya.. 130bucks, you guys should be happy, the tickets that are usually left for leafs games are like 180bucks and up! .. and the ticket prices went up again! ****ing rip off.

Yeah I agree that Joey N was a bad move. If he was worth the money he never would have been let free to roam. He's too old and not capable of playing the game the Leafs want to play. At least Gary Roberts will have someone to keep him company in the hospital...lol..j/k
The Leaf ticket prices are based on the fact that they sell almost 3/4 of the rink to corporate buyers so they know that they have the average fan by the short curlies when they price the remaining seats. Real fans will pay it and they know it...Until you guys boycott or something it'll just keep getting worse.

Rep Power: 0 I get this uncanny feeling that I would be dragged kicking and screaming to one of these games if I actually did come visit O-Town, I dunno why? Just a feeling I guess! LOL But, that is all good for I'm down with hockey, just partial as all get out to my Red Wings is all. But, I guess I could give these guys a try too!

I would love to see Vancouver get far. They were the victims of a HEARTBREAKER last year...although I'm a fan of the Wild as well. My city's AHL team, The Manitoba Moose is the farm team for the Canucks, so we can see all the young talent developing.

But, I'm still partial to Detroit! But, maybe I will be able to catch a game or two of them in person and be partial for them! I dunno, maybe, it could happen?! Yes, I know, IT WILL HAPPEN, RIGHT?! I will be struck with Sens fever immediately and never go back, right?!
