Yes, our H4 Hi/Lo setup has a halogen high-beam and HID low-beam. The Bi-xenon setup, which is $260 shipped, has HIDs for high- and low-beam. Thanks.

does the "H4-Low 4000k Kit" on the order page have the Hi/Lo setup? Is it for low beam only?

Yes, the H4 on our order page contains HID low-beam and a halogen high-beam. If you want HIDs for both high- and low-beam, that is our Bi-xenon setup.

Our Bi-xenon is not listed on the website, to order that we need a payment via Paypal. Thanks.

how does the H4 Hi/Lo work? being that we only have one bulb for highs and lows together? how is there an HID bulb and Halogen bulb in there?

also when u switch on the highs, does it shut the HIDs off? or do they remain on?
thank you

There is an HID bulb with a halogen bulb next to it, here is a pic.

When you switch on the highs, the HIDs still stay on. Models that do not do this run the risk of damaging the bulb with the turning on and off of the HIDs.

now do you run more of a risk of too hot of temperatures with that set up? does it affect the light output in anyway due to the bulbs next to each other?

also, the shield pictured...does that work the same way as the casper shields( used for non-HID cars to reduce the glare of an aftermarket HID kit)

how easily does the bulb set up come apart...say i order it now for my civic, then when i finish my projectors, will i be able to take the halogen bulb and sheild off easily?

thank you

No risks at all, I've had them running on my friends Civic for 2 years now and no problems at all. Yes, that shield is designed to function similar to a Casper shield. If you are going to get projectors later down the line, you're going to have to buy D2S bulbs, assuming you're going to run OEM HID projectors. A simple removal of the halogen bulb and shield won't work, you need a D2S base.

Hi,

Yes the HIDs are still at that price but not for long. 6000K is the perfect choice for those who are looking for a bluish white color without any purple. I've honestly had more problems with my limo tint than my HIDs. Never have I worried about cops pulling me over for my lights.

Best,
George

Good stuff I personally think the HID glare issue is horribly exaggerated. If you've ever actually driven in front of an HID car and not just base your opinion on pictures, you will agree with me.

Hi Devani,

The Bi-xenon setup has only one bulb, but the base is an electromagnet that moves the position of the bulb, thus producing a high and low-beam all in one mechanism.
