I need stability and height adjustment that I can do myself without going to the workshop. Would these B&G's do this? What other benefits would I get from them? What else would I have to do (or buy) to further tune the suspension after this?
Also, how much do these weigh (for international shipping). Thanks!
If you are looking for a suspension setup that you can tune, B&G's are not going to cut it. B&G do not offer dampening adjustability. They allow you to lower your vehicles ride height and have an auto-dampening system that adjusts how the suspension reacts under increased load.

If you are looking to tune a full-coilover suspension setup I highly recommend TEIN or JIC Magic. We sell TEIN SS Coilovers that offer dampener adjustability. The only downside is that they do not allow you to lower your vehicle as low as the B&G's do.

If you are concerned with ride height over performance then get the B&G coilovers. On the other hand, if you are more concerned with dampener adjustability, you should get the TEIN SS coilovers.

How much do the TEIN SS coilovers cost? Whats the max height adjustment of these?

And forgive my ignorance but what does 'dampener adjustability' exactly mean? Thanks!

Dampener adjustable allows you to set the stiffness of your ride. With the TEIN SS you have 16 settings. You can set it to ride soft for daily driving or you can set it firmer for the track days or whatever way you want it. TEIN cost over $1000. The cheapest I've seen it for was 1100something I think. I have B&G. I love the way it rides. They are pretty stiff around the corners, but not as stiff as the Koni that I had. My drive to work back and forth is so much better now. I'm dropped about 2" all the way around. Maybe more than that.

Forgot to mention, the front setup is so much lighter than the stock ones also.

Thanks for the info dvsdara. If you take out the money factor (if its only $200), which ones would you prefer? Tein or BG?

In all honesty, it would be up to you. I can't say to get B&G or to get the TEIN. B&G is perfect for daily driving. You have the ability to raise and lower ride height without having to sacrifice TOO much ride comfort. It's incredile now going over the uneven road and how the car keeps riding pretty smooth. TEIN isn't a bad choice either. It's really up to you on what kind of ride you're looking for and what you want from your suspension. With the TEIN, you can tune it to take on the road the way you want it too. My friend has the TEIN SS on his IS300, I like how the B&G rides compared to how his LEXUS rides. We're dropped about the same amount.

BTW-any new suspension better than stock. I've heard mixed reviews about the TEIN SS. I haven't heard anything bad about the B&G at all. Not trying to get you to lean one way or another. It's just that I've been following reviews on both products the last few months til I finally ordered the B&G.

I can only say one thing about the application for our cars, they're unavailable. However, I did have them on my old Accord with H&R Springs and it was a perfect match, in my opinion anyways. KYB AGX is a great product. Just sucks that they haven't released anything for our cars. They have the GR-2, but that's practically a stock replacement.

Correct, they do have a part number. However, there is no production for it whatsoever. Height of the car cannot be adjusted. The AGX's adjust dampening. To adjust height, you need coilover sleeves like Ground Control or any thing else like that.

So if I buy coilover sleeves for now and then the KYB's later when they come out, would that work. I'll be able to adjust height of the car for now and then the dampening later on, right? But would the Ground Control stuff work on the stock shocks? and if they would, is their any negative side to it? Thanks again.

You could do that. You can also ask any other member out there how long they've been waiting for the KYB's and they'll tell ya. They would work with stock shocks but the shocks aren't made to work with them. The only negative side is that you'll have blown shocks in now time. You can try them with Tokicos. I'm not sure, but I've seen in other posts that they have the D-Spec which also has 16 setting dampening. You can do Ground Control with those and see how they work. Other than that, just Konis or true coilovers.

I guess I am going to stick either B&G's or TEINs.

B&G offers height adjustment but no dampening adjust
TEIN has both (right?)

Right. B&G uses a speed sensitive technology on their struts.
