Rep Power: 0 Help w. Buying my 1st Civic
Hi, I'm looking for my 1st ever used car (have driven new fleet cars for the past 10 years) and I'm thinking of getting a Civic for its reliability.
I'll only use it to drive to work (GTA), and doubt it will ever be more than 10,000 km/yr.
Do not really care for any special features, just need a reliable car with a/c and low maintenance costs.
Should I pay more up-front and buy a newer model: 2010-12? Or should I save a bit and get an older model 2005-2007?
Is there anything I should keep an eye on in any of these specific years?
Also, would you recommend a good mechanic in west Toronto?
Any info would be very much appreciated.
Thanks!
