I want to get rid on my 2001 honda civic stock aluminium 15Inch rims. I bought a new set of toyo proxis tpt h rated tires for it about 2months ago and only put on 3000km on these tires. The rims are in good shape, 2 have a little scuff around the edge. I paid over 600 alone for the tires. I am asking $1000 obo. Please only serious e-mails. Make offers if it's too much.

you can buy brand new 17's with tires for 1200, so i would say 5-600 max for stock 15's. just my opinion

Well no offense either but the quality of rims you get with a 1200 dollar set up is pretty poor. Stock rims are going to be much higher quality and lighter. I personally don't think it's too good of an idea to buy cheap 17inch rims and tires just becasue you want bigger rims. There's a reason why you can get them so cheap. I've picked up cheap 17inch rims where one weights more than 2 stock rims with tires. Personally, i don't want to add 10lbs - 15lbs of rolling weight on each corner of the car. Just my opinio though.

lol...stock rims are not that great of quality. you said, make offers if its too much, and people are letting you know...its WAY too much for a set of stock rims. I sold my 05 SI rims that were about a month old for $500. thats the going rate for the 05 rims, and they're way nicer then the 01's

Don't get me wrong, im not saying that these offers are unreasonable, if they are worth 400-500 that's what they are worth. Im just saying if if your gonna go out to canadian tire and buy a tire rim pakage for 1000-1200 dollars your not getting anything of good quality and stock rims are far better than a set up for $1200. Go weight a stock rim vs a rim from canadian tire and tell me what you think then. And for a car that only has 127hp to start adding 10 -15lbs on each corner of rolling weight is a lot. Im not arguing anymore that these rims aren't worth much becasue they aren't becaue everyone demands bigger rims. Basic economics says the greater the demand for a product the higher the price.

People are forgetting u have a new set of toyos on the rims!! u should just put ur stock fire stone tires on the rims and sell them for around 500, and keep the toyos or sell them later on. 1000 for stock rims is quite a bit.

agreed with blkcivic...

save those toyos or sell them seperately....put the stock rims with firestones and u should be able to get like 400 bucks for the rims...then sell ur toyos for however much u want....u will make a lot more money that way or at least closer to ur 1000 bucks....
