That's an easy fix... all you have to do is ground the ebrake wire.

umm... actually I have a toggle switch that allows you to play video while driving. Plus I'm not really looking to ship.

Looking for a local deal, or willing to ship if someone has lots of good feedback.

Pioneer caught on with this method. It does not work with the newer model pioneer decks like the N2 or the 5700 in my case. You need a toggle switch, but works the same.

What does the toggle switch do that's different then grounding the ebrake wire?

Also..I heard there's no way around the N2... if the GPS senses you're moving... not matter what you do, it won't allow you to play any movies.

with the N2, you can play dvd's in the rear if you have screens there, while navigating in the front

but i'd still rather have movies up front too

Oh, the toggle switch does work. My parking brake wire is not even hooked up to my ebrake. I've played movies, music video's, and even the chappelle show while driving. I don't really play movies when I'm driving alone, its more for just the passengers in my car. Sometimes I'll play music video's while driving though.

Here's a pic of my toggle switch. It looks pretty gay where it is, but I didn't really want to drill into the center console. Trust me, if the switch was not necessary or didn't work, I would not put it there.



It does the same thing as grounding the parking brake wire, but this method just doesn't work with the newer models. Grounding works with the older pioneer models, like the 6600, 6500 etc.... u need the toggle switch for the 5700.

There is a way around the N2, but I heard its pretty complicated. I heard you need 2 toggle switches, and a bunch of other stuff.

nah... not a fan of sony decks. I only want to trade for the pioneer 8600mp or the premier 860mp, either one is fine.

phuviano, do you have any pics of the unit playing a movie while driving? I'm looking to either buy a 5700 or the Clarion VRX755VD. Let me know if you have any pics. Cause on the pics you showed it says that you can't view the video.

No I don't have a pic of me drivng while playing. I'm not going drive and take a picture at the same time. Plus I'm not going to ship. I do have a pic of my toggle switch, if you actually scroll through my post.
