Item for sale
i just found a $2 canadian bill sitting on my desk. anyone here want it? ill sell it for $1.30 US via paypal and i will mail you the bill. this is a great bargain for the price especially considering i have to ship it. let me know if you are interested.

In 1996 the two dollar bill was replaced by a two dollar coin nicknamed the "toonie". Honestly - taken from a Canadian Paper Money forum:

Those particular notes were (and still are) very very common and usually sell for barely more than face value in perfect condition. They're basically spending money if not perfect.


Maybe in quite a few more years the bills might be worth more than the face value (if mint), but for now.. its more of a souvenir/relic from the past
