FS: Carbon Fiber Hood

Fits 2004 Honda Civic. VIS Invader Style. Vented. Already has hood pins installed, and comes with washer nozzles (Non-lighted kind).

Paid over 1000 with shipping, installation.

$700 OBO, and I live in Edmonton. Willing to ship if buyer pays full shipping and insurance charges. I have a paypal merchant account, so various payment forms are accepted.

email jamitton@telus.net if you want pics.

you will never sell it at that price thats like 590.00 US plus shipping. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/04-05...spagenameZWDVW Thats 535 brand new including shipping. Hood pins do not cost a lot to install and are not required. You better lower your price my friend.

I think he's hoping to sell it local, which is why he put it in the Alberta forum. If you take that Ebay hood (~$400) plus shipping to Canada (~$260 as given on the auction) thats already $660 USD which, at current rates is $783 CDN, or almost $800, throw in pins and nozzles (and installation req'd for both) and thats another $50. Now you're $850 in the hole vs. $700 OBO, thats $150 savings approx. and you don't have to worry about shipping screwing up the hood. You guys should've dumped more money into education (esp. math) instead of going into Iraq

He claimed to have spent 1000.00....Had he spent that 850.00 that you so properly calculated he could have reduced his price even lower making it a more attractive deal. And not everybody needs to spend money on a professional install some of us actually know how to use a drill...

Before you go slamming, notice the OBO after the price. Some people just don't get it. If you want to know what I paid, ask Will from Transform spoilers, as he is the one who ordered it for me and installed it. I was too lazy to use my drill and do it myself. If you really want the hood on E-Bay, then buy it. Won't hurt my feelings any.

Will let the hood go for $550, just want to get rid of it as it is taking up space in my garage.

Do you have any idea on a shipping price to southern ontario (say L0R 1B3)

I'm quite certain it will be rediculous but Im curious 'cause im looking for a CF hood.

I think it's close to 150 because of the dimensions of the hood.
