I will NEVER take my car to Bubbles for wash or anything EVER again. I knew as soon as I pulled in I was not going to be impressed. Drug the damn vaccuum hose over the car, then, as they moved it, decided to see if they could spin my f***ing tires!
Talked to the supervisor, and he appologized, so I figured that was the worst of it...
No... Go figure... Get the car out and it's still dirty inside, so they re-did it, and then got home and pulled in the garage and they scratched the **** out of my frigging paint!
Phone up and complain, and what am I told? Sorry sir, we aren't responsible for any damage. Have a nice day.
Have a NICE day!
Kiss my nice HAIRY WHITE A$$!!
Wouldn't even put me thru to a manager.
Nothing but f***ing robbers those a-holes!
<END RANT>

They give it a quick once over then -rub- towels all over the car, you're just begging for swirl marks. The people they hire there..not so much the sharpest tools in the shed, probably wouldn't know the first thing about automobile paint.
I avoid hand washes like the plague, automatic washes for a quick wash, then, if it needs something more I DIY it. I don't trust some screwball bum they picked up off the street and stuffed into a jumpsuit to go near my paint.

Yeah a hard lesson tho. Looks like someone had keys in there hands at different points. Some of the scratches are pretty deep. Think I need a new repaint again. Damnit, not even 2 months old on the paint and screwed already.
I am going to make a stink about it tho. Contacting every trouble shooter for each tv station in Edmonton. Plus, I have support from others for boycotting them. For what they charge you figure you would get proper service, not some snot-nosed kid making 5 bucks an hour scratching the hell out of your new pearlized paint.
I'M REALY PISSED ABOUT THIS STILL.

Take this one for instance. There is this guy I know who comes into my work and buys parts from us and he has a BMW 645Ci. A mint ride, I wish I could afford one, but anyways, he taks it in to bubbles or something like that and when he gets his car back, his left front rim is scratched and chipped. Fackin guys screwed up his car with the wheel locking thingy/conveyor belt/car mover..............you know what I am sayin.....man was he pissed. I would be too with a 150G ride.
bubbles just amazes me at how much they charge and how little decent service you get. they do the shittiest job ever. i don't understand how they are a big company and people still pay big bucks for their ****. are their customers blind????

If it's brand new paint, why did you even bring it there. My car is a 01 and it's only been through a automatic car wash twice, not bad huh all hand washes, let me tell you, it still shines.

Its pretty easy to spin tires at a carwash though, esp. if the person can't drive stick well. I know that even in automatic washes getting over that initial big bump I sometimes spin my tires before I make it over.

Ouch, that was you they were referring to on DC5ab. I completely empathize for you.
That's why I'd never trust bubbles. I had a friend that worked there for 6 hours and said that the people "detailing" cars were complete morons w/o any proper know-how in detailing and cleaning cars.

UPDATE: The owner of the Bubbles has offered to PERSONALLY reclean my car, AND will have it power polished to get rid of most of the scratches. The deep ones are going to be a bit of an issue, but at least they are willing to try and fix the error.
