Where to get windows tint?

Any good places in town to get my windows tinted?

I want the 2 side rears and back done on my sedan. What do they usually cost? I read the US prices varies from $120-300.

THAT FREAKIN CHEAP?!!!

Supertint quoted me 375 for 5 windows? Is it the quality of tint they use that makes it so high?

I'd only pay something CLOSE to that, if they took the windows out, covered them, baked them, and then guaranteed the work for life, like mine, and I got mine done for 250.

Eurotint is where its at. They do all the detailing for Weber Motors (Mercedes and Mazda) next door if I'm not mistaken. Their quality is great, they did front/rear/back windows on my car and it turned out great, quick work, good price. Lifetime warranty if I'm not mistaken.

I've got the tint done by Performance Audio and Tint and they're located at Kingsburg (93631) and Hanford (93230). They do an awesome job. They dont just stick the tint on a window but take every window out and put the tint on it so well that you'd think the window was made like that. I've paid $225 for all 5 windows and a strip going through the windshield. They also give you lifetime limited warranty for peeling, cracking, etc. I'm very satisfied with their job. You can check it out here. PM me if you're interested and I'll give you their phone number.

Malcolm's Tinting (near PETuning). But it's a bloody hassle trying to get a booking; but you can't beat the quality.

coupe for 5 windows wouldn't be that much, but they would rape u for stripping your current tint. i bet u'd be looking at like $350 or something for the works. as for tinting at malcolms, if you want i can get u a booking anytime, i know a tinter there.

You can strip it quite easily yourself.

Take a razor blade at the edges, and carefully separate the tint film from the glass surface. There will be remnents and small pieces of film remaining, but you can scrape that off with the razor. And you don't really need to worry about scratching your glass as long as the edge of the razor is parallel to the glass surface.

Afterwards, there will be adhesive (or some sort of residue), you usually can't remove this with soap/water. But just go to the hardware store and and get a small tin of wash acetone ($5-8). As well, becareful not to drop it onto your plastic trim... remember.. acetone is known as the "universal" solvent and will whopper your plastic.

No problem bro. Good luck with the tint. My advice: you get what you pay for and personally I think tint isnt the thing to be cheap about.

if you want cheap go to canadian tire or wal mart and have some fun. you'll have the purplish bubbly tint you've always wanted i see way too many cars like that on the road.
