Bodywork Question

Just on the off chance that someone may know this... I Kinda need my stock hood fixed for my car. Actually, I really do need it fixed, not kinda. Anyone know what it would cost, approximately, to sand it down, fix 1 dent (Fairly Minor), and repaint it? Also, want to vent it if possible, and will supply side vents for it.

Any ideas on cost? And on time to do it all?

If I find a good price for it, I'm going to get it done. Want to have it finished before actual winter hits. Oh yes, SNOW SUCKS!

What do you think it would be without the vents?

The reason I'm asking is a Gravel Truck got in front of me last week, and didn't have his load covered, and hit a nice little bump in the road, and my hood and winshield suffered pretty bad.

If you would've gotten his plate number and perhaps a company ph # you could've called them and tried to make an insurance claim, apparantly its pretty common from people who take flack from large trucks on the highway, I think you're allowed something like 2-3 rocks-from-trucks claims.

Damnit. I didn't get a plate number, and the truck had no name on the side of it. Again, I guess I will have to pay for this myself.
