Dennis, you have to register one week a head of time. Registration has not opened up yet. I can make a post for you when it opens up if you want.
The event on Sept. 19 requires you to pay ahead of time via credit card, no worries it is safe and secure.
Requirements are pretty simple battery tie down, car must be road worthy, not loose items in the trunk or in the car and a DOT and Snell 95 approved helmet.
There is one that is held at the Griesbach barracks on Sept 11 if you want to race in that too. The Edmonton Corvette club holds that event, the requirements are the same. You can register and pay on site.
Cost for both events is $20 each, it is best you show up at 9:00 am to register, get the car teched and get ready. You run until 4 or 5, you should get between 6-9 runs at each event.
I would strongy reccomend you try this Auto X at least once, this is one of the best ways to learn the handling limits of your car safely. Believe me regardless of what people say, the 7th Gen Civic can handle great. I can say that because I raced the car in completely stock form (no mods to suspension or engine) and in modded form ( mostly suspension work).
