Calgary Auto Show 2004
Anybody going to this? I'll be going Saturday, March 13th in the afternoon. The show goes from 10am to 10pm that day. Can't wait to see all the nice, shiny new rides.
I'm only there for the imports though, I could care less about the domestics, well... most of them anyways.

Yeah, it's just a showcase featuring all the new vehicles for 2004. It's at the Stampede Roundup Center on the Stampede Grounds. Fee is $10. Parking is $5 at the park. It's totally worth it. You get to see in almost every vehicle and tinker with all the gizmos. There are also salespeople on hand to answer questions, and if you wish, to give you info on prospective sales.
I went to this show last March and got all the info on a Civic before buying mine a month later.
Most dealers will let you sit and roam freely in the vehicles (even BMW!) , as well as tinker with the options. The only car dealer I know that does not is Porsche.
Some of the new stuff I really want to see are...
1.) The new BMW X3 (new small SUV)
2.) Acura TSX
3.) Subaru Impreza STi
4.) Mazda RX-8
and others as well...
It starts on Wednesday, but because of school, I can only go on Saturday, which will arguably be the busiest day.

Just got back from the show. It was great, loved some of the rides, although Honda and Toyota has smaller areas this time around. Mazda and Acura had larger areas than last year. The main floor was occupied by GM and Chrysler.
dang.. and me all the way up here in Edmonton wanting to see some new cars. hehe. Well at least you have a digicam. Ours broke a while back so I can't even take any pictures.

Yeah, I know. I was going to bring it, but decided against it at the last minute. To my dismay, when I got there, nearly everyone was snapping pic after pic.
