WCCM, Huge Western Canada Civic Meet

Hey everybody out there. My name is Graham and I am with the Civic Evolutions Club in Edmonton. At our wing night we were discussing plans for a huge meet with as many fellow Civic owners we can get. The Edmonton Prelude club is doing something similiar, but as far as I've heard they only have 50 cars. We are shooting for a much higher number then that.

What we are planning on doing, if there is enough interest, was doing a big meet in Banff this summer. Just a weekend thing. A lot of fun and partying and just having a great time! Something like everybody would meet at lets say Calloway Park and then cruise to Banff area and have a huge meet, party all day and all night type thing. Plans are not set in stone or anything. If anyone has any suggestions or ideas please feel free to let me know.

It would be great way to meet everybody else who has a Civic Fetish. haha.

A big cruise, lots of partying, an impromptu show and shine. No awards or anything just a meet. What could be more fun then that!

Let me know what you think! Oh and to add on I will have some media stuff to present soon! As well as other plans for fun things to do, IE BBQ, camping games. I will post more about accomodations and such when a date is selected.

I have extended invitations to people in Winnipeg, Saskatoon, Regina, Calgary, Red Deer. All over the western provinces. The more people we can get on board the better!

he had posted the first info in another website that i'm on.....he last posted on the other forum on the 23rd and today i sent a message to him asking for an update. i also said that any updates he posted their i would transfer to here if he was to busy. i could also send him any question you have but hopefully he can just come here. there was a concern about parking and this was his response to it.

"Im working on that right now. Parking is at a very big premium in Banff itself. What was suggested is to cruise through Banff to one of the parks right close by. Parking will be a lot easier. But I will get more details about the route, maps, accomodations a soon as I can. Plus set an actual date.

Sorry guys, I havent forgot about you. Ive been pretty busy trying to plan this thing. Ive got maps and locations comming soon. As well as a set date. It sound slike itll be in July, on a weekend of course. Im getting really excited about the response to this Meet. Its gonna be great guys!
