Goddamnit! You guys were really goin' at it!
Good thing the arguement is done or I woulda gone to the bank and gave you all my two cents. Just kiddin'.
The decal my girlfriend wants is cool - too bad she doesn't have rims. She's got the ghetto-LX caps! Oh well, her car is still new - she's gotta wait a while before she can get rims.

Out of curiousity, how hard is it to install the Silentrage graphics on a 'Vic? Do you need any sort of solvents or anything of that sort?

For the relatively small cost (and a fun drive to Calgary) just get the good folks at Silent Rage to help you out!

dre2600 - Ya man you could definetly do it your self... but I'd still rather pay 50bucks and have someone who knows what they're doing put it on (that way if they mess up its just a brand new one for you)

But if you want to install it yourself i'll definetly help you out..

Anthony it is a huge pain in the *** to change speaker wires, are you planning to change your speakers as well ? Or did u already change them ? less than 30 ft should be fine, it leaves you with some slack in case you screw up.

Anthony, you should get the tweeter pods. That way you do not have to drill into the door. I can help you if you want, I worked on my own system before, so I know some stuff..at least I pretend to know.

Don't think it will fit the sedans, been reading up on it. Shouldn't be too had to drill a hole for mine, just the problem of getting the tweeters. I'll just probably have to get a component set and upgrade my amp to 4 channel.
But alas I don't have any money at the moment. So i'm gonna do little things b4 i can have enough money saved up.

Well for an amp if you just want to power your fronts you can get away with a two channel amp, it is cheaper than a 4 channel.

If you have a sub in the back you usually cannot hear your rear speakers because of all the bass, upgrading rear speakers with a sub is can be optional.

Yes they do not sell tweeters seperately you have to buy them with components, they come with a crossover as well, you gotta find a spot inside your door to mount those too those I found are a pain in the ***.

Some components might not fit because the magnet is too big, therefore you might need some spacers.

I've seen setups in the ICE forum where people have managed to mount aftermarket tweeters into the stock door pods, they don't look to shoddy though either.

Most 6x9s installed into the doors will require spacers though...But it'll be worth the effort to get rid of the damned paper-coned speakers our cars come with.
