Please No THREADJACKING, keep all posts in this thread related to the event !!!!!!! Thank You
Ok boys and girls !!!!! You know how we have discussed having a Go-Kart Challenge with Cevo well those dreams might come true. I am trying to organize a Go-Kart competition with Cevo. Details so far are:
-We are thinking of using Fast Track @ WEM
-We are thinking of holding the event near the end of Nov. or sometime in the first week of Dec. This way we can have plenty of time to plan it out carefully, determine the full cost from each participant, which will allow people to save up.
-We DO NEED people who are willing to commit to this event, reason why is if we book the track for 3 hours saying we have 16 people and only 10 show up we will be screwed. So make sure you guys/gals really want to participate in this event.
-I am hoping to see this event to the end, if there is not enough interest then it will not go through.
-7thgen should have a MINimun of 4 members and a MAXimum of 8 members who are willing to participate in this event .
(added oct14/03) - Ok people this is the tentative date for go kart racing nov 22, which is a saturday. now the not so good news we can reserve the track for 1 hour @ 750 + gst. the good news is that they can allow up to 8 carts per heat, so that means two more spots opened up for each team. if we get 16 people the cost will be $50 per person.
-So the million dollar question is ?? WHO IS WITH ME ON THIS ???!!???

-The tentative list for participants is:
MrWong
dret
Cisco88
Asianpride
7thgencivic has made the minimum
Cvcpwr2k2
Hao Be
Jeff Lau
Only one spot left
-People that think this idea is foolish and is not in:

This is not really something to be ashamed of in anyway considering the kind of cars that show up for autocross events.

not yet, i just called.....i doubt there i much they can do on price since we only get it for 1 hour. one 10 min run is $25 so it is not so bad, assuming we get 16 people
